Author Information

Deplorabella hails from New York City. After 15 years in the Arizona desert, her time back on the East Coast adds to a life of stories, lessons, and reflections. She treasures her family and friends. She embraces all of her travel, theater, and writing experiences. Deplorabella is an educator, administrator, consultant, actress, singer, public speaker, poet, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, voracious reader, explorer, leadership trainer, lover of many music genres, and champion of Western Civilization. Raised as a red diaper baby, Deplorabella's parents shut her off from a normal childhood. A dysfunctional family subjected her and her siblings to abuse and indoctrination. Liberty, faith, and appreciation for all the true joys of living took center stage, and she carries them with her wherever she goes. Deplorabella recalibrated the balance between despair and hope, failures and achievements, to quit the darkness for the light. She realized belatedly that she could stop beating herself up about her childhood many years after her parents lost their authority and ability to beat her themselves. Death and evil are part of life but not the totality. The positives clearly outweigh the negatives, and Deplorabella's journey continues...
