He is a painter and printmaker trained at the Royal College of Art where he was Professor of Printmaking 1998–2008. He was elected Royal Academician in 1995. His narrative work is satirical and very funny, with its roots in the reality of the world’s problems. His work is in the collections of the Arts Council, Tate Britain, The Victoria and Albert Museum and the Royal Academy.
