Zachary Karabell was educated at Columbia, Oxford, and Harvard, where he received his PhD. He is a prolific commentator, both in print and on television, and the author of thirteen books, including The Last Campaign, which won the Chicago Tribune's Heartland Prize, and The Leading Indicators. He is also a longtime investor, former financial services executive, and the founder of the Progress Network. Schlesinger, Jr., (1917-2007) was a renowned American historian, social critic, and prolific author of numerous books. He won the Pulitzer Prize in 1946 for The Age of Jackson and again in 1966 for A Thousand Days. He was twice winner of the National Book Award and recipient of the American Academy of Arts and Letters Gold Medal for History.
