Marla-Tiye Vieira is also the fiction author of Jasmine Breeze. Vieira viscerally combats racism, homophobia and religious oppression throughout her writing in order to create world peace. She holds a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and French from Howard University and a master's degree in Second Language Education and Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Houston. Vieira has an immense passion for wildlife and is a devoted advocate for Earth conservation. During her third trip to South Africa, she witnessed two great white sharks for a second time and dove with Nile crocodiles in Gansbaai.
