Author Information

Robert Morrell is a professor in the School of Education at the University of Natal, Durban. He has been studying masculinity in South Africa for nearly ten years. In 1998 he was guest editor for special issues on Masculinity of the Journal of Southern African Studies and Agenda. He is a member of IASOM, the International Association for the Study of Men. He has edited two books: White But Poor (1992) and Political Economy and Identities in KwaZulu-Natal (1996).
