OverviewThis research endeavors to shed light on the vital role played by Saudi women in community development and to unveil the prominent workforce and job-related challenges they encounter in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). By increasing awareness of these challenges, the aim is to prompt Human Resource Management (HRM) departments to foster more gender-inclusive work environments, practices, and processes that enhance the work experience for Saudi women. Employing a descriptive-analytical approach and qualitative research methods, particularly interviews, this study engaged with 10 Saudi women employed in unconventional, non-traditional job roles. Through this research, the study delineates the major issues and challenges faced by Saudi women in these roles and discusses potential strategies to mitigate these challenges. Notably, the research underscores the prevailing societal resistance to the employment of Saudi women and their participation in the labor market, highlighting the need for change.
