Author Information

Dr. S. Saravanamurugan is Scientist-F at the Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing, Mohali, India. He completed his PhD at Anna University, India, 2005 and worked as a post-doctoral fellow/senior researcher at KAIST, Inha University, and DTU. His research topic is catalytic biomass transformations. He has over 80 publications and co-edited two books with >6000 citations (h Index 35). He was elected as a FRSC in 2021. Hu Li is Professor at the Center for R&D of Fine Chemicals, Guizhou University (GZU), China. Dr. Li stayed as a visiting PhD student researcher (CSC scholarship) at the Technical University of Denmark, and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences prior to obtaining his PhD from GZU. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Tohoku University, and Nanjing Agricultural University. His research focuses on the catalytic conversion of biomass and waste resources into biofuels and chemicals with functional materials. Dr. Li has published more than 20 patents, 8 books, and over 200 peer-reviewed papers (H-index: 50, ~7000 citations) on sustainable catalysis and green chemistry. He was awarded the National Youth Top-notch Talent Support Program, the Guizhou Provincial Natural Science Award (first prize), the Guizhou Provincial Youth Medal, etc. Currently, He is Associate Editor of Frontiers in Energy Research and Current Green Chemistry, and Editorial Board Member of several international journals. Prof Ashok Pandey is currently Distinguished Scientist at the Centre for Innovation and Translational Research, CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow, India and Executive Director (Honorary) at the Centre for Energy and Environmental Sustainability – India. His major research and technological development interests are industrial & environmental biotechnology and energy biosciences, focusing on biomass to biofuels & chemicals, waste to wealth & energy, industrial enzymes, etc. Professor Pandey has several publications, which include 16 patents, 125 books, >1000 papers and book chapters, etc with h index of 142 and ~86,000 citations (Google scholar). Prof Young-Woong Suh is a full professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Hanyang University, Republic of Korea. He obtained his Ph.D. degree at Seoul National University, Republic of Korea, in 2003. He was a postdoctoral research associate at Northwestern University and then worked as a senior research scientist at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) until 2011.
