Overview

"In his 50-year movie career Ted White has had roles alongside, and doubled, such stars as John Wayne, Clark Gable, James Garner, Rock Hudson and many others. In addition to playing Jason in ""Friday the 13th: The final Chapter"" he has played good guys and bad guys in dozens of films and TV shows. As movies and TV shows changed he schooled himself in the filmmaking arts and has become a valued second unit director, stunt coordinator and sought-after stuntman. His biography is filled with stories of famous leading men and women, some fun, some sad but always interesting and exciting."

Reviews

Ted White is the real deal. He was kind of like a father figure to me but now is more like a brother. He was the king of television in the mid-60s. He was the man, by golly. He had shows going all the time. Terry Leonard, Legendary stuntman, stunt coordinator, actor, director Larry Meredith explores many of the high points of Ted White's extraordinary career in the movie industry. Ted has worked with ALL the film giants. He's generous of spirit and a downright nice guy. We've listened to many of those tales firsthand, and this book now offers readers the opportunity to enjoy his many astonishing Hollywood experiences. Kym O'Connell-Todd and Mark Todd, Authors of the Silverville Saga series Ted is one of the great men in the motion picture business. The man is a rock, a great teacher and a wonderful friend. Dean Smith, Former Olympic athlete, great stuntman, actor A book on the life and times of the great Ted White is long overdue. And who better to write it than Larry Meredith - a long-time friend of Ted's and a man with a satchel full of writing credentials. Ted White is a striking, imposing, and talented individual while at the same time remaining humble, composed, and gentlemanly. He remains one of the most significant behind-the-scenes participants in the history of American film. It's about time the rest of the world learned about him. W. C. Jameson, Author of Amelia Earhart: Beyond the Grave
