Mitsura Misawa (LLB, Tokyo; LLM, Harvard; MBA, Hawaii; PhD, Michigan), is a professor of finance (International Finance and International Banking) and the director of the Center for Japanese Global Investment and Finance at the University of Hawai'I at Manoa. Before joining the University of Hawai'I, Dr. Misawa was an investment banker in New York and Tokyo. His most recent book is entitled Current Business and Legal Issues in Japan's Banking and Finance Industry (2006).
