Overview

Written to help investigators learn how to establish a better finding of accidental, homicidal, or undetermined death from drowning, this book presents 16 actual drowning cases and examines and explains their associated forensic evidence. The authors give readers a general understanding of forensic evidence and explain how better to interpret evidence within the context of drowning. They take an interdisciplinary approach, linking evidence to the scene with other kinds of evidence. Case studies are included for readers to analyze, including one of the most controversial murder investigations in recent history, the Smiley Face Killers.
