Author Information

Andrew Thomas's work is an evolution of design that he has been developing over the past 24 years, ranging from the human form through to complete abstraction of subject. His avant-garde style is a unique blend of angles and curves that have flavors of Cubism and Art Deco. A qualified teacher with 17 years' experience and a contributor to GMC's Wood Carving magazine since 1994, Andrew has won over 20 awards for his sculptures, including 3 international gold medals. He has exhibited in over 80 exhibitions to date, and his work, which can be found in many private collections across the UK and Europe, is also hosted in 11 different galleries.
