Author Information

Andree Woodcock is a Professor of Educational Ergonomics and Design at Centre for Arts, Memory and Communities, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Coventry University UK. She completed her BSc in Psychology and Social Biology from University of London, UK; MSc in Ergonomics from UCL, UK; and PhD in ergonomics from Loughborough University, UK. She has worked as PI on three major EU funded  transport projects – FP7 METPEX, H2020 CIVITAS SUITS, and H2020 TInnGO, as well as a number of UK projects. With her background in ergonomics she has always forwarded the needs of transport users , especially those experiencing transport poverty. H2020 TInnGO involved some members of the SUITS consortium focussing on gender and transport.  Janet Saunders is an academic researcher and specialist in user research and user centered design, splitting her time between research roles and consultancy. She has a background in ergonomics, social sciences, business analysis, and user research and has worked extensively in the IT industry, both in the private and public sectors. She has carried out  senior research roles with Coventry University, UK: including the DDRI Living Lab project, developing research ethics for co-creation in a Living Lab and the ErgoWork project, an EU project about people with disabilities in the workplace.  She was Research Fellow with the SUITS project and more recently was a Researcher for the TInnGO (Transport Innovation Gender Observatory) project, carrying out many aspects of qualitative research and design.  Keelan Fadden-Hopper is a Senior Product Manager at Essex County Council, working as part of a team using digital technology to deliver better public services for residents of Essex. Keelan supports teams across the council to meet the needs of their residents, including through the council’s flagship website and other digital services. Keelan previously worked as a Senior Future Mobility Developer at Transport for West Midlands, a transport authority covering a region of 2.9 million people. As part of the team delivering the £22m West Midlands Future Mobility Zone programme, he worked on applications of digital technology to transport services. He led the development of a Mobility as a Service strategy for the West Midlands, planned and delivered a national-first mobility credit trial, and worked on the Midlands Future Mobility CAV Lab and Horizon 2020 SUITS projects. Keelan was awarded the Sampson Young ITS Professional of the Year award in November 2019. Eileen is Managing Director and a founding partner of Interactions Ltd, with over 26 years’ experience in qualitative and quantitative research. Eileen’s expertise lies in researching the needs, values and motivations of customers, providing insights for behaviour change initiatives, using segmentation techniques to identify potential to change - feeding into development of communications forbehaviour change and overcoming resistance. She holds a Bachelor’s degree (UCC) and an MSc in Organisation Behaviour from the Trinity College/IMI Graduate School of Management and has completed a Master Class in Personal Construct Psychology. Eileen is a Member of the Institute of Management Ireland and participates in the Going for Growth Community. She is the evaluation manager of H2020 CIVITAS Suits project.
