OverviewCancer Biomarkers and Oncoviruses examines the extensive clinical applications of biomarkers in cancer research, with a particular focus on oncoviruses. The book explores key topics such as cancer risk assessment, screening, and early detection. It further covers accurate diagnosis, patient prognosis, prediction of response to therapy, and cancer surveillance and monitoring. In 47 detailed chapters, Cancer Biomarkers and Oncoviruses presents the molecular biology and pathogenesis of viral oncology, the mechanisms of viral oncogenesis in humans, signaling pathways, and therapeutic options such as vaccines. It also discusses the future of cancer therapy involving oncoviruses. The present book also covers critical analyses of cost savings in healthcare, respiratory biomarkers in viral infections, and lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on pandemic preparedness, early detection, surveillance, and response strategies. These discussions aim to provide valuable insights into how lessons from the pandemic can be applied to improve healthcare systems and response strategies for both viral infections and cancer, helping inform future health management practices. This book is an invaluable resource for health professionals, scientists, researchers, health practitioners, students, and anyone seeking to deepen their understanding in the field of cancer and virology. It offers valuable state-of-the-art insights, incorporating the latest research and cutting-edge developments in the field.
