OverviewNot one hymn is trite, or treats a conventional subject in polite language. Each tune and text speaks to the mind and heart - and most surely to the human voices who will want to sing them all. From the foreword by Alice Parker This collection of 16 hymns demonstrates a collaboration that has stretched over many years, not only as text writer and tune writer, but also as pastor and parishioner, and as friend and friend. Each hymn is set both as poetry and interlined with music. Unison hymns are also set in tune-line only format appropriate for bulletin inserts. Churches purchasing ten or more copies of this collection are granted permission to use the hymns contained within it in the following ways: Duplication of melody-only or four-part pages for congregational worship use in bulletins Recording of congregational singing for a shut-in ministry Projection of words on a screen to facilitate congregational singing Full Product DetailsAuthor: John D Thornburg , Jane M MarshallPublisher: Abingdon Press Imprint: Abingdon Press Dimensions: Width: 12.70cm , Height: 0.60cm , Length: 23.50cm Weight: 0.100kg ISBN: 9780687076550ISBN 10: 0687076552 Pages: 54 Publication Date: 01 January 2009 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: In stock We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier.
