Overview

Representatives of these arthropods from North America were among the first to be documented and they include many taxa of historical and nomenclatorial importance. 16 genera and 26 species are recognized and new descriptions and illustrations are given of each, and their paleographical and palaeoenvironmental distribution is discussed. This Special Paper thus provides important data on, and derived from, a hitherto rather poorly known group of fossils.
