Mr. Lampkin entered private practice in 1987 and has offices in Bakersfield and Taft. He is licensed to practice in Texas, California, and Federal Courts. His successful representation of thousands of clients has included extensive trial experience; where he learned the importance of pretrial motions and became highly skilled at preparing and arguing all necessary and essential motions. A trial may be won or lost at the motions stage, when the ground rules for the conduct of trial are set. www.RogerLampkin.com (661) 633-1234 Victor VeVea Mr. VeVea received his bachelor degree in Math and Computer Science from Cal State Bakersfield. He became interested in the law when he was falsely accused and had to prove his own actual innocence. He went on to get his Bachelor of Law degree and Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern California University School of Law before passing the California Bar on the first attempt. Mr. VeVea is known as a magician because of his uncanny ability to conjure viable defenses in cases that others see as hopeless, and because of his expertise in prestidigitation. United States District Court Judge Lawrence J. O'Neill described Mr. VeVea as extraordinarily bright person, and...an intellectual vigilante. Despite such glowing praise, Mr. VeVea does not practice law; instead, he devotes his time to volunteer work, scholarly endeavors, helping others who have been falsely accused, and assisting Mr. Lampkin and other attorneys on the most difficult cases.
