He graduated from Taiwan National Defense Medical Center in 1970. Subsequently he emigrated to the United States. He received surgical medical training in the east coast of the United States. He became a surgeon and practiced in the middle southern part of the United States, in the state of Arkansas. He practiced there for thirty odd years. After his retirement, he moved to Las Vegas and became a resident there. He began writing after retirement. He has published his memoirs and suspense novels, all in English.
