Author Information

Prof. Dr. Zoran Keković is the founder and president of the Center for Risk Analysis and Crisis Management. Since 2009, he has been a full professor at the Faculty of Security at the University of Belgrade, teaching Security Systems, Security of the National Infrastructure, and Methodology of Disaster Risk Assessment. He pioneered the first specialist studies in Serbia and the region in crisis management at the Faculty of Security Studies in 2005. He served as Vice-Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at the Faculty of Security Studies from 2012 to 2016. Dr. Keković has engaged with several higher education institutions both domestically and internationally, including the University of Novi Sad, University of Belgrade, Aston University, and Warwick University. He is the president of the National Commission for Standards in Security and Resilience within the Institute for Standardization of Serbia and has led the Southeast Europe Branch of the London Institute for Strategic Risk Management since 2019. He has participated in numerous scientific projects, training, and services focusing on risk management, crisis management, business continuity, and critical infrastructure protection. His work bridges academic research and practical application in the corporate and public sectors, earning him national and international recognition. Dr. Savo Kentera is the President of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro, a think-tank he established in 2006. In 2022, he served as the Director of Montenegro’s National Security Agency. He holds a Ph.D. in Security Studies from the University of Belgrade and has completed professional training in the United States, including programs at the Institute for National Security and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Dr. Kentera co-edited and contributed to the book “Shaping South East Europe's Security Community for the Twenty-First Century: Trust, Partnership, Integration” (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013). He has extensive editorial experience, having served as Editor-in-Chief of Security Magazine and Digital Forensic Center Magazine. Dr. Kentera’s editorial work has advanced professional discourse on security challenges, disinformation, and international relations in Southeast Europe. Additionally, he has lectured and researched security policy and international relations, authoring numerous analyses and publications on Euro-Atlantic integration, intelligence studies, and security sector reform. Dr. Denis Čaleta is President of the Institute for Corporative Security Studies in Ljubljana and President of the Slovenian Association of Corporate Security. He currently chairs the international association ""SE Europe Corporate Security Association"" (SECSA). Dr. Čaleta holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of State and European Studies, Slovenia, and is an associate professor at the Faculty of State and European Studies and Faculty of Entrepreneurship/GEA College, where he heads the Department for Management of Corporate Security. He has authored many scientific articles and books related to Critical Infrastructure Protection, Counter Terrorism, and Cyber Security. Dr. Čaleta has participated in over 100 international and national conferences and EU research projects, including EU Critical infrastructure protection projects ENDURANCE, ATLANTIS, and SUNRISE. He served in the Slovenian Armed Forces from 1990 to 2024 and represented Slovenia within NATO's Joint Intelligence Working Group from 2002 to 2009. He was an Adviser for Counter Terrorism to the CHOD of the Slovenian Armed Forces and a member of the Government Coordination Group for critical infrastructure protection for over 15 years. Dr. Čaleta is also the national representative in the EU Radicalization Awareness Network (RAN).
