Author Information

Melissa Duckett is an associate professor and the nursing and respiratory therapy coordinator for the Center of Best Practice in Teaching and Learning at Jacksonville State University. She holds a DNP from Jacksonville State University and completed a mentorship program titled Leadership Excellence in Educating for Professionalism through the Academy of Professionalism in Health Care. Tammy Killen is an instructor of nursing at Jacksonville State University, where she teaches courses in medical/surgical nursing, health policy, professional nursing, NCLEX preparation, and nursing leadership. She holds an MSN from the University of North Alabama. Rachel Wooten is an associate professor at Jacksonville State University, where she also serves as the undergraduate coordinator of nursing programs. She holds a DNP from Samford University specializing in nursing administration. Dr. Wooten serves in leadership roles within the JSU School of Nursing and is President of Sigma Theta Tau Zeta Xi Chapter.
