"Author Ricky Ames made things for friends and family and when other people are interested in his projects to build he decided to produce some illustrated instruction or how to books for the benefit of all. other book produced a working water wheel fountain for yard ornament. More wood working projects coming soon. and in the works a science fiction book(s) or novel. Rick graduated from High school in 1969, original residence in Poland, Maine did a 4 year tour with the US Navy Served as a Submarine Electriction on two Boats the USS Pickerel SS-524 out of Charleston, South Carolina, and The USS Tirante SS 420 out of Key West, Florida. After 38 Years with General Electric in Auburn, Maine Various jobs included Drill, Milling area Set up, Tool and Cutter Grinder Class ""A"" Retired in 2006. Now resides in Brooksville, Florida Has a Real estate license, and likes to keep busy. Still happily Married to his Wonderful Wife Cecile over 40 years. Writing and or producing Things for people is a hobby he does in his spare time. He is learning how to use his 3-D printer he has recently built. More projects from that are on the way. his likes are Fishing on the Gulf, Motorcycle riding, Meeting people. Mini Golf."
