Chantol E. Williams was born into a devout Jamaican family with two older sisters, her closest friends. Her upbringing in faith, family, and education led her to graduate with four associate degrees in liberal arts. During college, Williams met her soulmate, a strong, passionate Italian/American man. Together, they have two beautiful children, BellaLucia and Winston.Family is Williams' heart's passion, so she started her own Jamaican catering company, ""Rasta Mama's Kitchen"", serving family recipes and cherished childhood memories.Brown is the Rainbow came from Williams' childhood struggles and the determination to install in her five-year-old daughter the same comforting words William's own mother used to soothe her. Williams' hopes this book opens minds to the vibrant tapestry of beauty that exists - a harmonious blend of love, color, appreciation, and joy! Jennifer Shermer Pack is a freelance graphic designer, illustrator, and photographer doing business as Black Cat Studios Design. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. Brown is the Rainbow is her first children's book. She resides in Washington with her family (and her cat).
