OverviewThe purpose of Bridgeville Elementary: a Big History of a Small School is to convey a sense of what Bridgeville School was like over the years, from 1866-2023. The teachers of Bridgeville and other schools are listed in chronological order and create the main skeleton this book. Early 20th century students are listed if that information is available. Rural Supervisors, the equivalent of a school superintendent, are listed if known. They usually covered several small schools, lived elsewhere, and generally only visited the schools six times per year. In later years, when Bridgeville School published staff lists which included support staff in addition to teachers then those personnel are listed as well.
