Author Information

David Haggett's fascination with insects started many years ago as a child in England. Later, he was fortunate that his work gave him the opportunity to travel around the world, taking him to diverse and exotic locations. This enabled him, in his spare time, to pursue his interest in natural history, which includes not just entomology but reptiles. While living in South Africa, David started breeding chameleons and various insects. This soon developed into a full time occupation, along with writing. Currently living in Malaysia, he is continuing his study of insects. David's first book - Exotic Chameleons in South Africa, their Care and Breeding - quickly became popular among chameleon enthusiasts in that country. This is David's fifth book and he is a regular contributor to magazines in South Africa and other countries.
