OverviewThis coloring book is based on Tanya Diable's picture book, Bow Tie Boone. The images show Bow Tie Boone, a handicapped dog with a wheelchair, who is trained to be a therapy dog and a variety of his canine friends. With the playful and fun images, children learn that handicapped dogs are no different from ordinary dogs. Even with their limitations, they can be very playful and fun. All proceeds from this book will go directly to Joey's PAW, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that raises money to purchase prosthetics and wheelchairs for dogs in need Full Product DetailsAuthor: Tanya Diable , Morgan SpicerPublisher: Leaning Rock Press LLC Imprint: Leaning Rock Press LLC Dimensions: Width: 21.60cm , Height: 0.30cm , Length: 27.90cm Weight: 0.109kg ISBN: 9781960596086ISBN 10: 196059608 Pages: 36 Publication Date: 18 August 2023 Audience: Children/juvenile , Children / Juvenile Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: In stock We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier. She started this non-profit in the hopes to make a difference in the lives of dogs who need assistance in mobility. She and her husband, Charlie, adopt dogs with many different special needs and see the joy in having them overcome obstacles and live their best lives. She wants to see that same transformation in the dogs they assist. Boone is 1 of 6 of their special needs dogs and has recently passed his Therapy Dog training certification. Besides her work with Joey's PAW, she spends a lot of time volunteering with Boone in schools, children's hospitals, as well as the Pittsburgh International Airport. For those close to Tanya, her other favorite passion is everything Christmas and especially Hallmark Christmas movies! Morgan lives in the woods by the sea with her vegan family which consists of one husband and SIX rescue pups. All inspire her every day. She has illustrated 43 books & has created thousands of portraits, since graduating from Syracuse University's BFA program in 2012. Shortly after graduation, Spicer interned and then worked for a small animation studio in NYC while walking dogs part-time. Before creating Bark Point Studio, she would use her artistic voice as a caricaturist at local fundraisers while also walking shelter dogs after school.Ever since the age of 4, it's been all about the animals.
