Rachel Brisson is an artist living in Lake Echo, Nova Scotia. She was born in Windsor Ontario and has lived across Canada including Edmonton and Canmore Alberta. Her work is heavily inspired by the natural world around her. She loves to use traditional mediums such as gouache and watercolour paints, as well as her new found love for digital creation. She has worked with local Nova Scotian companies on label designs, including Garrison Brewing Company and Solas Kombucha. She is a strong and passionate advocate for mental health and highlighting the beauty of the world, in order to promote the need for preserving it. Along with her own artistic endeavours, she is a manager at Trainyard Store in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia where she finds a meaningful connection with the community through promoting and selling other artists goods from the East Coast and across Canada.
