Author Information

Fe Brewer taught English in the East Midlands for almost 15 years before recently moving into teacher education full-time. She has written for TES, Teaching English and CLiC Dickens, and is the co-author of Succeeding as an English Teacher. Mary Hind Portley is a highly experienced teacher and leader, having worked in several schools as a teacher, lead practitioner, assistant head and curriculum director. Mary is also a freelance writer and education blogger (www.hind-sights.com). Follow her @Lit_Liverbird. Gwen Nelson taught in state secondary schools for 20 years before becoming an English Language and Literature specialist.
