Overview

'Blizzards', is a gift to myself of acknowledgment-and-care-to-release!, strength, bravery, enlightenment, gratitude, joy, fellowship, love, self-love, and a journey to home. I had an epiphany while writing this, that it's almost as if my first two books were partly, me, trying to convince myself that I can leave the affect of childhood trauma behind and just forget about it?, move on from it?, if I do 'all of the right things'. My breakthrough moment on this journey came early one morning while writing this book- in the realization- the epiphany- that the key (to my path to healing) is in the acknowledgement of my truth (without the misplaced shame), loving and caring for 'brave ""little me"" ', and finally release. And in the knowledge that I do have belongingness- in Jesus and in my husband and in my kids and in my chosen family.
