Every married couple could benefit from reading this book! -Dave and Ashley Willis, Bestselling Authors and Hosts of The Naked Marriage Podcast As a seasoned therapist, I have concluded that while it is helpful to listen to those who provide intellectual insights, I greatly prefer those whose insights are experiential. Drawing upon their own personal stories, the Martindale's guide you toward much needed wisdom regarding this prickly topic. So many have experienced blended families, yet so few have spoken about it with such practicality. If you're searching for ways to find God inside your patchwork circumstances, consider carefully what this marvelous book presents. -Dr. Les Carter, Psychotherapist of 40 years, Author, Creator and Host of Surviving Narcissism In Blended and Redeemed, Scott and Vanessa chart a path for remarried couples around the hazards that can often sidetrack blended families. They take the idea of redemption seriously. You've likely heard divorced families referred to as broken homes, but I love how Scott and Vanessa show how homes built on the foundation of Jesus are never truly broken. You may have needed repairs from time to time, but you are not broken. Nor is your spouse. And together, both of you are in the hands of a Master Builder. He's ready to make repairs and rearrange the broken pieces into something beautiful. -Jimmy Evans, Founder, XO Marriage My friends Scott and Vanessa took their love for each other and expanded it to include the blending of their families. All the hope and encouragement you need to strengthen your blended family is found within these pages. Read it. Talk it. Walk it. Picking up and reading this book was a breath of fresh air, knowing it was written for someone like me, a blended family. With this book you don't just receive surface level solutions, but deep insight and Godly wisdom so that you can experience true transformation. From its practical conversations and support in topics unique to blended families, strong biblical teaching, to the unwavering petition to the church to better understand and support families like ours, this book is long overdue. I recommend it, and all other resources from Blended Kingdom Families. -Rachel G.
