TOMMY C. TUCKER has won no awards though some call him the (deranged) poet laureate of the suburbs. After years of getting on with his life and supposedly not writing, he discovered a giant pile of scribbled scraps in his garage. Blast Sky and the earlier Pounding My Head on the Steering Wheel of Life were mined from that pile. When not buttressing the defenses with forgotten garage sale and political campaign signs, he breaks chunks off the pile for other books.
