Overview

"An authoritative description and analysis of the process of civil litigation in the county courts and in the High Court. This supplement brings the 2002 edition of ""Blackstone's Civil Practice"" up to date to 30 July 2002. The supplement deals with all relevant cases reported since publication of the 2002 edition. Cases concerning service, the new costs provisions and appeal procedures have been particularly significant, but all areas of civil practice have been affected. The supplement updates the legislative texts in the appendices to the 2002 edition. New Parts 64, 68, 69, 74 and 75 of the Civil Procedure Rules, published on 13 August, are included in the supplement. There are also many detailed amendments to the existing parts, including new rules on interim possession orders. The supplement also provides the text of the new court guides for the Admiralty and Commercial Courts and the Patents Court. The ""Civil Practice"" text is also available as a pack with the supplement (ISBN 0199256772)."
