Starting where ""Author - A murder with a twist"" ended, ""Blackett Hill"" delves deeper into the secrets held by the people living in Blackett Hill. In a place where everyone has a criminal record for crimes they claim they never committed, no one trusts any type of authority. The police along with the entire justice system, the fire department, and all branches of the government are adamantly despised. After a woman is murdered, Detective Douglas returns and faces a wall of defiance. When arsonists target Blackett Hill, the residents band together to save their community. Not knowing what to do, the police delve into the residents' pasts and find things that don't add up, and numerous people with a lot to lose. As things intensify, despite the growing police presence, the isolated residents take matters into their own hands.
