Author Information

Bernadette Mcbride is an award-winning writer, filmmaker, academic, and creative practitioner based in the UK. She won the Biggest Impact on the City of Liverpool Award in 2019 for her creative writing programmes in the community. She was shortlisted for the prestigious Manchester Fiction Prize in 2020 for her story, 'For the man who died in the wood.' Her short fiction has appeared in anthologies and journals. Her story, 'Sea monster, ' was adapted for film and selected for several international film festivals. This is her first full short story collection. www.bernadettemcbride.co.uk
