At the Provadis School of International Management and Technology, Frankfurt, Germany, he is Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology and Vice President Research. His research focuses on bioprocess engineering and the bioeconomy. He is one of the initiators of the Innovation Space Bioeconomy in the Metropolitan Area (BioBall) and Chairman of the Board of BioBall e.V. Manfred Kircher brings to his consulting work more than 30 years of experience in the chemical industry, and in developing bioeconomy clusters. His career milestones are positions in R&D, production, venture capital, and branding & partnering with Evonik. Since 2012 he developed the Cluster Industrial Biotechnology (CLIB) and since 2019 the Innovation Space Bioeconomy in the Metropolitan Area (BioBall).
