Overview

I like Taylor and I have followed her music and details of her life for several years. While I do not and may never know her personally, she seems to be a genuine person and as a public figure possesses an adequate amount of grace and humility. Not to mention that she supports many causes and often donates the proceeds of her concerts to charity. But more than anything I like how she has blossomed into a smart young woman, bold and unafraid. Career wise, she has made some pretty smart choices and has learned to play the game well. In her open letter about Apple music, she spoke on behalf of the less well-known and well-off musicians, who were struggling to make ends meet. Instead of letting success get to her head, she uses it to influence the right people to make the industry better. People criticize her for focussing too much on her love life but I think they should take a leaf out of her book and understand that even though she keeps getting her heart broken, she never gives up on love. Maybe she hasn't had the best luck with men but she keeps her heart open, so that when the right one comes along she is ready. And moreover, in that sense, she is living proof that music heals. Every time she wrote a song about an ex, she got it out of her system, and it helped her move on. And she decided to share that with the world. Which brings me to the next point. Next Point.....
