Biodynamics of Osteopathy Phase Four

Overview

Biodynamics of Osteopathy: Phase Four is the fourth in a series of twelve hardback editions. As each volume builds upon the understanding established in the previous ones, it is recommended that the series be read in sequential order. Please note that a prior fundamental knowledge of osteopathy is assumed. Phase Four focuses on the Midline, a place where the spatial relationships are expressed as a whole. It synchronizes and centers us in such a way that we become aware of Zone D and the Dynamic Stillness. The Third Level Stillness in Phase Four is different from the Stillness in the other Phases - we are centered by the Stillness at the center of creation. Our intention is replaced by the intention of the Tide which can facilitate our spiritual path. About the Author James Jealous, D.O. (1943-2021), was a renowned osteopathic physician, teacher, and author. His life's work was the founding and development of Biodynamics of Osteopathy, a unique methodology that follows the lineage of Dr. A.T. Still and Dr. W.G. Sutherland. Dr. Jealous was a 1970 graduate of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (now A.T. Still University). He was inspired by the parallels he saw between the embryological research of Dr. Erich Blechschmidt and the osteopathic insights of Dr. William Sutherland to create his own distinct body of work.
