"Bill Berry was born in 1954 into a family of seven children and educated in New Zealand. There, he began his career of psychopaedic nursing, managed an alcohol and drug treatment centre, and a psychiatric workshop. Bill became a Christian in 1978 and has studied the bible for forty-two years. He has been writing inspirational poetry since 1986 and has regularly preached in King George Square and Queen Street Mall, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Bill separated from his wife and children twenty-six years ago and has since been living alone. ""I live alone, but I am not alone. God is always with me."""
