The way the book is written makes me feel as though I'm riding alongside the author. A great resource for anyone working in pre-hospital or emergency care; it helps us to realize we are not alone in our feelings with the stuff we see, how to manage PTSD and still work, and how the healing presence of our pets helps us after the hardest shifts.
