Bernhard Langer is one of the best-known - certainly the most consistent and resilient - golf professionals playing today. He has hovered in the upper echelons of the game for over 20 years, and since 1980, he has only once been outside the top 30 in the Volvo Order of Merit. His fascinating story is one of conquering adversity. Despite growing up in a country where golf is a minority sport, he rose to become World Number One.
