Andrea Brew Harrison is a South Louisiana native with a lifelong passion for literature. Growing up immersed in the state's rich Creole and Cajun influences, she developed a deep appreciation for cultural narratives and Bayou State traditions. Andrea has been an educator since 2003. She combines her expertise and creativity to help foster a love of reading in young children. In 2016, Harrison published her debut children's book, 'Twas the Night Before Bayou Classic, followed by 'Twas the Night Before Bayou Classic: A Tiger's Tale in 2017. Harrison earned her bachelor's degree from Southern University and A&M College, a Master of Education from Northwestern State University, and a Master of Library Science from Texas Woman's University. Andrea enjoys traveling with her husband, browsing unique bookstores, and searching for Louisiana's best-boiled crawfish.
