The journey through the myriad emotions we experience is both enlightening and essential in today's chaotic world, offering a much-needed framework for understanding our feelings. Her ability to translate complex emotional insights into accessible reflections provides not just knowledge but also comfort to readers navigating their own emotional landscapes. -Ronald S. Jacobson, Ph.D. I feel called to encourage others, so I reached for this book with the intention of adding to my toolbox. I quickly was enthralled with the self-study. Digging deeper into myself, I feel lighter and brighter towards others, benefiting them as well. I strongly encourage you to try this in your own circle. -Catherine Foster Walsh, MA Comparative Literature University Fellow Dr Gregg's work is a profound guide for facing yourself in the mirror. It offers kindness and empathy as the foundation for building a life of purpose and serenity. With deep insight and care, she provides support in using practical strategies to cultivate confidence and self-care. This book would also be useful to those in alcohol and drug recovery, especially to assist in rebuilding a renewed sense of direction. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a compassionate roadmap for ongoing self-discovery and peaceful living. -Mallory J. Read. MD Essential reading for anyone seeking positive transformation or compassionate guidance through life's many challenges. Chapters are presented in a masterful blend of easily digestible, evidence-based material. -Laurel S. Llobell, MS, LPC Various writers urge us to embrace, challenge, follow, dissect, honor, or control our feelings. Each school of thought tends to focus on a subset of positive or negative emotions. As a developmental psychologist, Dr. Gregg skillfully tracks our five innate emotions into the nuanced and confusing array of the full adult experience we face. Not only does this book give us a clear direction, but it also serves as a field guide to human emotions, in simple terms. -Weare A. Zwemer, Ph.D. Everyday life is full of stress that can be difficult to manage. Our emotions complicate our responses. This book provides effective bite size ways to respond to those feelings, leading to a happier and more productive life. Your copy awaits for immediate benefits. -Maria R. Urbano, MD Find self-acceptance here on the complex journey of living, in small well-crafted steps. Brilliant, beautiful, and yours to use in whatever ways suit you: pick it up, set it down, mull it over.
