The DEXTERDEXTERDEXTER label has embarked on a new journey to help calm and enjoy any time of year. These one of a kind, designer coloring books, part of series of designs, are a complete set of illustrations from the label's Fall Winter 2016 collection. This book along with the additional volumes are exclusive, yet unique, backstage passes, plus exciting meet in greets with the creative director himself. Allowing us all a soothing way to spend the season as he present to the fashion universe, his runway looks during New York's Fashion Week; an event (part of a global fashion press / market week) hosting targeted branded events as well as independent fashion productions around town - all reaching millions via social and online media, press and print media to video and film outlets...and now, book lovers too. DEXTERDEXTERDEXTER is an American luxury fashion house and privately held New York based company founded in 2015. The designer label specializes in high fashion to streetwear clothing with a wide range of matching accessories, serving clients worldwide. The company's atelier is located in the heart of New York City's Garment District, and all menswear, ready-to-wear, handbags and shoes are made in New York. The label's multi-faceted design elements, inspired by cultural innovation, are evident in everything from their tailored loungewear looks, to their new, signature fragrance collections (set to launch in January of 2017). I am so excited to present my designs to the world, says Dexter, founder of the brand, at the debut of his Spring Summer 2016 collection preview at NYFW, September of 2015. Dexter Cheston is Global President and Creative Director of DEXTERDEXTERDEXTER, Inc., a New York based, privately held fashion company. Dexter serves as Chairman of the DEXTERDEXTERDEXTER Management Committee and Board of Directors. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Dexter studied Business and Marketing at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to New York City in 2006. After making NYC his home away from home, Dexter created what became a successful career in event planning, going on to launch an award winning luxury bottle water company; as well as, in financial services, heading up multiple consulting projects for some of the world's top investment banking firms on Wall Street. In 2015, the designer launched his triple namesake fashion label, DEXTERDEXTERDEXTER as creative director across all product lines, designing the brand's look and feel, in addition to setting the tone. Creator of the Model 7.0, a neck-to-floor length gown with long sleeves of the same span, worn with a self-belt, and originally made out of multiple jersey cotton fabrics; served as the base for the label's aesthetics. First presented, summer of 2015 as part of the label's Resort 2016 Collection - the piece offers a relax, tailored silhouette look, and is one out of several designs by Dexter he continues to take forward. We can now add author and publisher to Dexter's title as he has officially invited us all into his creative space. Through a series of designer coloring books which are published under his newly created publication house, Flamingo Company Press, New York, we can enjoy the season creatively and calmly. The high fashion coloring books are being distributed globally for fall 2016 with all major retailers including amazon.com. By spring 2017, the label plans to add fancy colored pencils, crayons and chalks plus tote bags and garments along with an official book tour under its belt.
