Author Information

I'm a partially retired minority business owner in metropolitan Washington, D.C. area. Developed the minority trash removal company into the largest minority trash removal company in the USA. In my younger years, I was an advocate and paralegal for the Social Security beneficiaries, interpreting the law and resolving issues with the SSA and Federal Government for Medicare, Social Security, and Supplemental Security Income beneficiaries.I started as a Cooperative Education business major at DuVal Senior High School. I worked as a bookkeeper at the Citizen Bank of Maryland during my senior high school year. After I graduated from DuVal, I attended Prince George's Community College, where I received an Associated Arts Degree in Accounting. My degree was useful in Private Industry and Government jobs. In 1977, I took the government entrance examination scoring 105, when 70 points were only needed for a position. The Federal Government was calling me for positions for a Federal Government job. My first job with Federal Government was aiding FBI agents and Administration Law Judges with Dishonorable Soldiers' Court Cases. Later became an Advocate for Social Security, SSI, and Medicare beneficiaries with the Social Security Administration. Currently, I'm a certified minority business owner for one of the largest certified minority-owned trash businesses in the United States of America. Imagine a journey of hard work, dedication, and determination that led to a fulfilling career in government service and ownership of a thriving business. As a powerful advocate for Social Security beneficiaries, I easily interpreted complex laws and regulations, ensuring those in need received the help they deserved. After years of public service, I took my talents into the private sector, becoming a certified minority business owner that served the D.C. and Metropolitan Illustrious community. Step into the world of our lives-a world filled with challenges, struggles, and triumphs-and be inspired by the incredible journey of an exceptional woman.
