Author Information

Irene Sever (BA, Hebrew University, Jerusalem; MA, Haifa University; Ph.D Sorbonne) is senior lecturer at Haifa University on Mt. Carmel, Israel. After working for many years as a librarian in several scientific institutions, she changed course to anthropology and communications and began to concentrate on library services for children and the communicative skills of librarians. For over ten years she has taught courses on library services for children as well as on communications and mass media.
