Reviews

This volume no doubt allows Bede's poetic work to shine. Lapidge makes Bede's poetry accessible, and he also explains his textual criticism decisions clearly and effectively. Every library would do well to have this thoroughly researched and easily accessible text on its shelves. * Colleen M. Curran, Early Medieval Europe *
