Author Information

Leigh Crandall grew up on the Caribbean island of St. Thomas and spent seventeen years in Manhattan writing for travel and lifestyle publications. Her first children's book, Dark Hedges, Wizard Island, and Other Magical Places That Really Exist, was published in 2020. She is currently a contributing editor at Country Living, and lives in Richmond, Virginia, with her family. Angela Edmonds started drawing animals at the age of four and has never stopped. A graduate of California Institute of the Arts, her first job was with Disney Animation, and she spent her early career in children's television before falling in love with children's book illustration. She now lives on a ranch just minutes from Los Angeles with her husband and pets.
