Overview

Despite our ironclad policy of not taking part in our interviewees' games, we find ourselves caught between the ropes in the whirlwind of a bondage meeting. The third volume of the interview series with couples who play BDSM and live out all facets of this magical sexuality has once again taken the author duo all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The spectrum of this part ranges from a gifted carpenter who constructs hellish torture furniture for himself and his partner, to a couple who have turned almost their entire vacation home into an S&M playground (including stakes on the lawn behind it), to the customer of a dominatrix who drinks from the dog bowl in a pub and stays under the table in anticipation of really dirty games. In sixteen chapters, the two journalists report in detail and humorously about very different people and their painful experiences, personal development from the tent camp to the torture cellar and particularly dark passions, such as orgies with like-minded people and sweaty bondage practices in a transparent raincoat. The chapters are (lavishly) indecently illustrated by photographer Hermann Zeichen from Karlsruhe, who only presents pictures in gloomy black and white in this volume.
