Ricoh also helped start the Navigator program, Spearhead efforts for Rally Point Suicide Prevention Program and contribute to the Veteran Court System helping Veterans obtain ""treatment over punishment"" in courts cases. Ricoh also served as a Commissioner for the City of Scottsdale on the Human Relation Commission where he advocated and assisted community ordinances to be presented to the Mayor's office for the Veteran community, LGTB and Veteran LGTB community.
