Reviews

"A totally zippy read from start to finish. -- ""Madison Public Library"" An outstanding World War II spy thriller. Basil St. Florian was the James Bond of his time. -- ""Nelson DeMille, #1 New York Times bestselling author"" Hunter adopts a breezy, boys' adventure book style that complements Basil's derring-do exploits. -- ""Publishers Weekly (starred review)"" Narrator James Cameron Stewart delivers a tongue-in-cheek WWII adventure...Stewart's approach is laugh-out-loud funny...Countless outstanding European accents create atmosphere, with those of the often bumbling Nazis being the standouts. Well-presented cameo appearances by Winston Churchill and Vivien Leigh add to the verisimilitude of the time period. Listeners will enjoy a wry tale that takes its history seriously but never solemnly. -- ""AudioFile"""
