‘Barefoot with Scorpions’ is the debut novel from someone who started out in life as a Windrush generation orphan. After spending a good portion of his adult life raising a family in Cornwall – and following numerous career incarnations – he began writing in earnest while working as a crisis management consultant throughout Europe. He now lives with his partner and their collection of rambunctious animals, on the Essex-Suffolk border in East Anglia.
