Author Information

Muhammad Bin Abd al-Razzaq  Al Qashami is a Saudi writer and historian, from Zulfi in northern Saudi Arabia. From his early career in the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Al Qashami went on to head the General Presidency for Youth Welfare and also serves as a key figure in the State Appreciation Award for Literature in Saudi Arabia. He has long been at work on an important project to record the oral history of Saudi Arabia,  interviewing senior writers, scientists and experts in the field of education, finance and politics, pulling together the biographies of more than 300 personalities from all over his homeland.
